Tara Buckson Administrative Assistant
Tara brings more than 17 years of human services experience to Merrick Financial Group. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University and has a longstanding commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families through compassionate, client-focused support.
Throughout her career, Tara has developed and administered a wide range of programs designed to meet essential needs and enhance overall quality of life. Her professional background includes counseling for women and children, mental health support for adults and adolescents, crisis intervention for veterans, and advocacy for individuals with special needs. These experiences have strengthened her communication skills, empathy, and ability to navigate complex situations—all qualities that align with MFG’s mission of simplifying the financial planning experience for clients.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys traveling abroad, serving through local ministry, and staying actively involved in her daughter’s Parent Teacher Organization.
